Your Security

At Ink2U we take your security very seriously indeed.
PadlockThawte TrustMcAfee Secure sites help keep you safe from identity theft, credit card fraud, spyware, spam, viruses and online scams

How do we protect you?

A lot of online websites opt to buy their SSL certificate, commonly referred to as "the padlock" on a budget, chances are that they are using 128 bit encryption.

Whilst this level of encryption probably provides an "adequate" level of security we feel that you deserve better than that. Each additional bit of encryption doubles the level of security, so 129 bit is twice as secure as 128 bit.

We utilise Thawte 256 bit High-grade Encryption as we feel the extra expense which that entails is justified by the increased level of security provided for you.

For further piece of mind we subscribe to the McAfee SiteAdvistor™ service which scans our website on a daily basis for security weaknesses to keep you safe from identity theft, credit card fraud, spyware, spam, viruses and online scams so you can search, surf and shop with us safely.

In short, shopping on the internet is usually safe, but for doubt-free shopping make sure you look for the following conditions on websites that you are providing personal information to:

  1. The padlock icon located in the bottom right of your browser, this indicates that you are connected via a https or secure connection, 256 bit encryption is preferable to 128 bit.
  2. The McAfee Secure daily tested image such as the one just above on the left, and on every page in the top right of this website.
