SSL is all about encryption. SSL encrypts data, like credit cards numbers (as well other personally identifiable information), which prevents the "bad guys" from stealing your information for malicious intent. You know that you're on an SSL protected page when the address begins with "https" and there is a padlock icon at the bottom of the page (and in the case of Mozilla Firefox in the address bar as well).

We don't only supply award winning products, we probably hold one of the largest stocks of inkjet and toner cartridges in the UK and so endeavor to dispatch all orders received before 4.00pm the same working day from the British mainland. In the unlikely event that your goods are not in stock we will inform you of an estimated delivery date via email.

What is a compatible inkjet cartridge?

A 'compatible' cartridge is a brand new cartridge that has been manufactured by a company other than the printer manufacturer, offen costing a lot less than 'original' cartridges.

Ink2U branded compatible cartridges are guaranteed to perform at least as well as the 'original cartridge' they are intended to replace.

"You can get better prints by using non-original ink cartridges and papers, and make huge savings. Printer manufacturers often give ominous-sounding warnings about compatibles, but don't be afraid to try them." Which? Consumer Magazine September 2002.

What is an original (OEM) cartridge?

An 'original' or 'OEM' cartridge is a cartridge which has been manufactured by the same company that made the printer. A cartridge manufactured by Epson for an Epson printer for example.

'Original' cartridges often cost more than 'compatible' or 'remanufactured' cartridges.

What is a remanufactured cartridge?

Using state of the art equipment and manufacturing techniques, we produce our own brand of remanufactured cartridges. By doing this we can ensure that both the quality and value is consistently excellent. In fact Ink2U branded 'remanufactured' inkjet cartridges won a 'Best Value' award in January 2008.

An Ink2U branded 'remanufactured' inkjet cartridge is an empty 'original' inkjet cartridge, that has been factory cleaned, refilled to the maximum capacity* and print tested for quality.

*e.g. an original hp C9351A (HP21) cartridge is filled with 5ml of ink.
A remanufactured Ink2U C9351A (HP21) cartridge is filled with 20ml of ink (4 times the amount of the original).

What is a refill kit?

We supply award winning inkjet cartridge 'refill kits', which are designed to easily refill your empty cartridge.
Our 'refill kits' contain premium ink specifically suited to the particular cartridge, the necessary tools for refilling, and step by step instructions to easily perform the task.

Does using remanufactured or compatible inkjet and laser cartridges void my warranty?

Major printer manufacturers normally sell printers at or below cost. They make their profits from selling the cartridges. Formerly, once you bought your expensive new printer you had no choice but to buy one of their cartridges after yours ran dry.

By using compatible or remanufactured cartridges you are cutting into their primary source of profit. Because of this, they will threaten to void your warranty if you use compatible or remanufactured cartridges. They are simply trying to protect their own interests anyway they can. It is however strictly ILLEGAL for them to do so, they CANNOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY simply for using compatible or remanufactured cartridges.

There is no reason that you should not use compatible or remanufactured cartridges. They work and will save you money.
We've sold hundreds of thousands of inkjet and laser toner cartridges during our 7 years of trading and have never had an incident where a customer's warranty was "voided" from using our products.

According to Hewlett-Packard, the use of a refilled print cartridge does not affect the warranty unless failure or damage is attributable to it. This is typical of all manufacturers' warranties. Keep in mind that the ink does not touch any part of the printer or internal parts other than the cartridge and print head. The ink is applied to the paper as the paper is fed through the printer.

Why should I buy compatible or remanufactured cartridges?

Why not? The main reason is because it saves you lots of money! Also as a remanufactured cartridge has been recycled it reduces the amount of waste going to landfill. Thirdly if you by a remanufactured cartridge from us, you can be sure of the quality as it will have been recycled by us and will have passed our strict quality tests.

Will I Get the Same Number of Printed Pages From a Compatible or Remanufactured Cartridge as an Original Cartridge?

You will get at least the same number of printed pages from compatible or remanufactured cartridges as you will get from original (OEM) cartridges. All 'Ink2U' branded products have been thoroughly tested by both us and third parties such as 'Which?' and have been found to equal or out perform the original (OEM).
